Better systems for home service businesses.

You've got more calls, more crews, and more jobs than when you started — and the office still runs on a whiteboard, a shared inbox, and someone's memory. I help home service companies with 5–30 people tighten up how leads, estimates, and jobs move through the business.

Who this is for: HVAC · Plumbing · Electrical · Roofing and remodeling · General contractors · Cleaning services · Landscaping and lawn care · Pest control

Where time and money leak in home services.

  • Missed calls and slow callbacks

When the office is slammed or the crew is on a job, calls go to voicemail. Most homeowners just call the next company on the list.

  • Estimates nobody follows up on

Quotes go out and no one circles back. Some of those were a yes that only needed a reminder.

  • Double entry across office tools

Customer details get typed into the CRM, then the scheduling or field service app, then the invoice.

  • Office-to-field handoffs

Job notes, access instructions, and what the customer was promised don't always make it to the tech on site.

  • No clear view of the pipeline

How many estimates are open? Which lead sources actually turn into booked jobs? Finding out takes an afternoon of digging.

Practical fixes, in order of impact.

Not every business needs all of these. The free Ops Review is where we figure out which ones matter most for you.

01

Stop losing opportunities

  • Missed-call text-back so every caller hears from you quickly
  • Web and ad leads routed to the right person the moment they come in
  • Automatic estimate follow-up until you get a yes or a no
  • Seasonal maintenance reminders for past customers
  • Review requests after completed jobs

02

Reduce manual work

  • Online booking and intake forms that fill in your systems
  • Job confirmations and “on the way” texts
  • Invoice and payment reminders
  • Customer info flowing between your CRM, field service software, and accounting

03

Build better systems

  • Cleanup of your CRM or field service software
  • A simple pipeline from new lead to booked job
  • A clear office-to-field handoff checklist
  • A weekly snapshot: leads, open estimates, close rate, revenue by source

Example: what estimate follow-up can look like

An illustration of a typical setup — not a client case study.

  1. An estimate goes out from your field service app.
  2. Two days later, the homeowner gets a friendly text check-in from your office number.
  3. No reply after five days: a short email with the estimate and a link to book.
  4. Any reply stops the sequence and alerts whoever owns the estimate.
  5. Every open estimate sits on one list, oldest first, so nothing is forgotten.

Use what you have first.

Most of this works with software you probably already use — Jobber, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, QuickBooks, Google Business Profile, or a CRM like GoHighLevel. I'll only suggest switching if your current setup is actually the problem.

Common questions.

Do I need to switch field service software?

Usually not. Most fixes work with the software you already have. If your current tool is genuinely holding you back, I'll explain why and what I'd use instead before you spend anything.

Will automated texts annoy customers?

They shouldn't. Messages are written in your voice, sent at sensible times, and stop as soon as someone replies. Texting is set up with customer consent and carrier registration so messages actually get delivered.

What size company is this for?

Owner-led companies with roughly 5–30 people — big enough that things slip through, small enough that there's no operations team to catch them.
